Last night's festivities happened at Maddy's Rib and Blues Joint in Decatur. I like Maddy's. I actually learned something there last year. If the word rib is in the name of the restaurant, get the ribs. Its that simple. They're not gonna put it in the name if the ribs aren't delicious. I also learned something else at Maddy's last night. There is a BBQ club here in Atlanta that apparently goes to BBQ cook-offs and stuff. And I heard that the president of this club, Bob (who wasn't there last night) has business cards that actually smell like BBQ. These are all things that I will need to look into. Met a few new Meat Weekers last night including a guy from Spain who said he'd like to try starting a chapter when he gets back home. We're going global! Or more global since we already have a chapter in London.
